Accessibility statement

01 Our goal

We design and build heyarcadewrld.com to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines make websites easier to use for people with disabilities, and easier for everyone else too.

02 What we’ve done

• Text and buttons meet colour-contrast standards in light and dark mode.
• Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
• Images have text descriptions. Decorative illustrations are hidden from screen readers.
• Forms have labels and clear error messages.
• Pages use real headings and landmarks so screen readers can jump around.
• Text resizes up to 200% without breaking the layout.
• Animations respect your device’s “reduce motion” setting.
• We test with VoiceOver, NVDA and automated checks before each release.

03 Known limits

We’re still working on:

• Some product images from our suppliers have text in them that isn’t yet repeated in the description.
• Some third-party tools, such as the payment pop-up, chat widget and tracking page, are built by other companies. We choose accessible tools where we can and report issues to their makers.
• Older blog posts may be missing image descriptions.

This statement was last reviewed on October 16, 2026, based on a self-assessment. We review it at least once a year and after major site changes.
